PUBLIC COMMENT
The Wyoming Department of Family Services is requesting Public Comment on a waiver to the FFY 2021 Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) Plan.  The waiver would increase the percentage of LIEAP funding to the Weatherization Program for persons of low income.  The waiver would increase the LIEAP Weatherization funding to up to twenty-five percent (25%) instead of the standard allowable fifteen percent (15%).  Awarding these Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) funds to the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) will not reduce the funding available for LIEAP benefits during the upcoming LIEAP program year.

A copy of the Waiver Request will be furnished upon request.  Contact LIEAP, Department of Family Services, 1700 Robertson Avenue, Worland, WY, 82401.  Copies may also be requested by email to dfslieap@wyo.gov. Comments are invited to be submitted in writing to dfslieap@wyo.gov by July 30, 2020.
